What are the active ingredients?
Aciclovir 5%. It contains MAC-P, a carrier that aids the absorption of the active ingredient through the skin, ensuring fast absorption of the cream. Aciclovir is an antiviral agent that interferes with virus replication resulting to cold sore virus being less severe and accelerated healing process.
Dosage Recommendation:
It is best to start using this product as soon as possible if you feel a tingling, burning or itchy sensation around your lips and you feel you are getting a cold sore.
You should be able to treat several cold sores with one tube. Simply rub a small amount into the affected area up to 5 times a day for up to 5 days.

What is a cold sore?
